Book Your Stay at RV Park Ontario

Looking for a great spot to park your RV in Ontario? Maitland Shores Resort sits right on Lake Erie near Dunnville, in Haldimand County. It is one of the few private RV campgrounds in southern Ontario with direct waterfront access, on-site ATV trails, fishing, and a full-service marina — all in one place.

We are open from April 15 to October 31. Whether you want a single weekend or a full-season site, we have options for every type of camper.

Full-Hookup RV Sites on Lake Erie, Ontario

Our full-hookup RV sites come with everything you need. Each site includes water, electric (30 amp and 50 amp, individually metered), and sewer connections. Sites are level and well-spaced. Pull-through and back-in options are both available.

Pull-Through RV Sites

Do you have a large motorhome or a long trailer combo? Pull-through sites let you drive straight in and out. No backing up, no tight turns. These sites are big enough for fifth wheels and Class A rigs over 40 feet. They are popular and book quickly, especially in summer. Reserve early to be sure you get one.

Back-In RV Sites

Back-in sites give you more options when it comes to layout. You can position your slideouts, awning, and outdoor area exactly the way you like. These sites are great for guests who know their rig and want to set up a comfortable outdoor living space.

Waterfront RV Sites

Want to wake up and see the water? Our waterfront sites put you right on the edge of the property, closest to Lake Erie and the Grand River. These are the most requested sites at the resort. If a waterfront site is on your list, book as far in advance as you can.

Seasonal RV Sites on Lake Erie, Dunnville

Seasonal camping at Maitland Shores is one of the best deals in southern Ontario for RV families. You pay for the full season. You come and go as many times as you like between April 15 and October 31. Your site stays set up all season long.

With over 230 seasonal sites, this is one of the largest private seasonal campgrounds on Lake Erie in Ontario. Spots fill up fast. If you want a seasonal site for 2026, reach out now.

What Is Included With a Seasonal Site

Every seasonal site at Maitland Shores includes:

  • Full hookups — water, 30/50 amp electric, sewer
  • Access to all resort facilities for the full season
  • ATV trail access on the 300-acre property
  • Marina and boat launch access
  • Heated saltwater pool
  • Organized events and activities throughout the season

Many seasonal guests set up a deck, outdoor furniture, and even a small shed on their site. It becomes their own space for the summer. That is the experience seasonal camping is designed to give you.

Returning Seasonal Guests

Many guests have held the same seasonal site for five, ten, or even fifteen years. That kind of loyalty only happens when a campground delivers consistently. We know our seasonal guests by name. We save their site. And we make sure every season is worth coming back for.

To ask about seasonal availability for 2026, email info@rvparkontario.com. Seasonal sites are not available through the online booking system.

More Ways to Stay — Tents, Cabins and Glamping

Don’t have an RV? No problem. Maitland Shores has options for every kind of outdoor guest.

Tent Camping

Our tent sites sit in quieter, shaded areas of the property. You get the classic camping experience — a fire pit, fresh air, and mornings by the water. Tent sites are great for guests who want the outdoor feel without the cost of a full-hookup site.

Have you ever camped on Lake Erie? The evenings here are hard to beat—a fire, some walleye on the grill, and nothing but the sound of the water.

Cabin Rentals

Our cabin rentals are clean, comfortable, and ready when you arrive. Everything is set up for you. They are perfect for families who are new to camping, couples on a long weekend, or anyone who wants the outdoor experience without setting up a tent or driving an RV. Cabins come with access to all resort facilities.

Glamping on Lake Erie

Want something a little more special? Our glamping options give you a real bed, comfortable surroundings, and a view of Lake Erie. Glamping is growing fast in Ontario, and it is easy to see why. You get the feeling of being outdoors with the comfort of a proper room. Great for birthdays, anniversaries, or just a trip where you want to relax properly.

Why Choose Maitland Shores for RV Camping in Ontario

There are a lot of RV parks in Ontario. So what makes Maitland Shores different? Here are the three things our guests mention most often.

Genuine Lake Erie Waterfront Access

A lot of campgrounds say they are “near the lake.” Maitland Shores is on the lake. Our property sits right on the north shore of Lake Erie, at the mouth of the Grand River. Guests walk from their site to the water. There is no highway to cross, no parking lot to walk through, and no private land in the way.

This matters most to anglers and boaters. Lake Erie is one of the best walleye and perch fisheries in Ontario. Having direct water access from your campsite is a real advantage.

300 Acres of Private Resort Property

At 300 acres, the resort is large enough that sites do not feel crowded. Seasonal guests especially notice this. You have room to set up an outdoor space that actually feels like your own. You are not camping next to a stranger two metres away.

The property also means there is genuine room for ATV trails, hunting, and outdoor activities that smaller campgrounds cannot offer.

Full-Service Resort Amenities

Maitland Shores has everything a full-service resort should have. That includes:

  • Full-hookup RV sites with water, electric and sewer
  • Heated saltwater pool
  • On-site marina with boat launch on the Grand River
  • ATV and dirt bike trails on the property
  • Playground and family recreation areas
  • Organized events throughout the season
  • On-site staff who live on the property
